From 5 August 2024, the Construction Workers’ Pension Scheme new weekly contribution rates for Pension, Death in Service and Sick Pay comes into effect. These rates closely mirror the Sectoral Employment Order (Construction Sector) 2023. The employee pension and death-in-service contributions are PAYE allowable. This means that the contributions are deducted from your gross pay before income tax is calculated. The full portion of pension contributions paid, will be allocated to members’ funds.
We facilitate the collection of some voluntary weekly industry deductions for the Construction Workers’ Health Trust and the Benevolent Funds, payable as a combined payment with the Pension, Death in Service and Sick Pay contributions. Your pension schedules are payable online, and we also accept specific payroll uploads through our secure online payment systems.
